Subject: Information for Athina-Koridhalos Congergation
Dear brothers!
We want to inform you that on May 31, 2014 brother Kostas Damvakis, a regular pioneer in your congregation, came to Albania along with brother Mikel Aliu (East-Athens Albanian Congregation) with the intention to “fix things right” in our congregation because as they pretended “the things are not as should be”
Brother Kosta together with brother Mikel, expressed their indignation to an elder in our congregation, brother Artan Marku, accusing him that during Memorial talk , he didn’t mention the fact that in our congregation we have an anointed. They pretended that this should be made clear during the talk because the Memorial talk is directed to the anointed. They have accused brother Marku even in the presence of another elder Daniel Kanani, pretending that during the Memorial talk, he didn’t allow Mrs. Sinani to partake the memorial emblems. Their accusation is based in a sentence during Memorial talk, which they recorded, when brother said: ‘we are observant with respect to this occasion. As they said ‘these words were said intentionally to prevent Mrs. Sinani to partake Memorial emblems.’ They said to the elders that they will send to the Bethel the recorded talk. (The conversation was done in Greek so that Brother Damvakis could understand what is said.)
At the same day, Brother Kostas Damvakis went to a family in our congregation, his friend’s. While in the house of this family, Brother Mikel Aliu made a phone call to Brother Artan Marku with the intention ‘to set the justice’ because it was done an injustice toward Mrs. Sinani. At the end of the phone call which last minutes, Brother Mikel told brother Marku that the phone call was in loudspeaker and all the family Maliqi was hearing the conversation. (Even though the phone call was in Albanian, Brother Damvakis knew all what was said)
The elders Marku and Kanani warned openly brother Damvakis that he should not continue with this attitude, because not only this pretends were unfounded but also he was not authorized to set the “justice” in this way. They also were warned that these attitudes caused disunity and trouble in the congregation. The next day brothers returned to Greece.
